ST. MARY PARISH. La. - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD) announces that beginning Monday, June 6, work will begin on a $807,469.00 project to construct 7.14 miles of cable bariers along U.S. 90 in St. Mary and Assumption parishes.
Work will consist of installing cable barriers and related work.
Work is expected to take place Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting.
The road will be open to regular traffic.
Intermittent lane closures on the inside lanes of U.S. 90 eastbound and westbound will be necessary to perform the work in this area; therefore, drivers should expect some delays.
Emergency vehicles will have access to the area.
This project is estimated for completion in September 2022.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
