The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that Ernest Wilson Dr. will be closed, beneath the Intracoastal Bridge, from Capital Dr. to Mahaffey Rd. This total closure will begin at 7:00 PM Friday April 22, 2022 and will end 6:00 AM Monday April 25, 2022. There will also be another total closure of Ernest Wilson Dr. beginning at 7:00 PM Friday April 29, 2022, and will end at 6:00 AM Monday May 2, 2022.
This closure is needed to perform road work on Ernest Wilson associated with the replacement of the Intracoastal Bridge.
