*****UPDATE: LA 577 NORTH OF WAVERLY HAS BEEN REOPENED TO TRAFFIC.*****
Effective immediately, LA 577, north of Waverly in Madison Parish will be closed at approximately 3.00 miles north of US 80.
This section of the road will be closed for approximately 2 weeks, so that necessary repairs can be made.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
DOTD reminds motorists to NEVER drive around ‘road closed’ barricades at any time for any reason.
