The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) will hold an open house meeting to express and document concerns regarding the closure of the Union Pacific Railroad Crossing along La. 3089, ½ mile north of the intersection of La. 70.  The meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Council Meeting Room of the Donaldsonville City Hall located at 609 Railroad Avenue.

This meeting will allow the public to learn more about the project, view presentations, direct questions to individual DOTD employees regarding the potential plan to close this railroad crossing, and provide written comments.
