The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that Bridge # 370-01-0412-1 on LA 454 over Wiggins Bayou will be immediately closed to all traffic due to severe erosion and scour. The duration of the closure has yet to be determined. The bridge is in Avoyelles Parish on LA 454 over Wiggins Bayou and is located 4.12 miles southwest of the LA 107/LA 454 intersection at Effie, LA.
Permit/Detour section
Eastbound traffic will be detoured south on LA 107 to LA 454 west.
Westbound traffic will be detoured north on LA 107 to LA 454 east.
