Union Pacific Railroad
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that LA 115/29, Bunkie, Avoyelles Parish, will be closed at Union Pacific Railroad Tracks. The work will be done at Milepost 39.521 and is on Control Section 033-01. The closure will be on Thursday October 7, 2021 from 8:30 AM with a reopen at 1:00 PM. The closure is for Union Pacific to replace a broke rail in the siding thru the crossing.
Permit/Detour section
The roadway will be closed completely to all traffic during this time. All emergency agencies will be notified of the road closure. All other railroad crossings will be open during this closure.
