I-10 EB from MM 103 (I-49 Exit Ramp) to MM 104 (Louisiana Avenue), Lafayette Parish, Lane Closure
Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 8:50:32 AM
The outside lane of I-10 eastbound from mile marker 103 (I-49 Exit Ramp) to mile marker 104 (Louisiana Avenue) will be closed Thursday, February 11 at 8:00 p.m. until Friday, February 12 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.
This closure is necessary to allow crews to prepare the roadway for asphalt operations.
There will be no vehicle width restrictions associated with this lane closure.
Emergency vehicles will have access to the area but may encounter delays. No detour route is necessary.
The $124.7 million I-10 widening project will involve widening a 7.11-mile section from I-49 to Breaux Bridge (State Project Number H.003003). The project will include pavement replacement within the existing lanes and the construction of one additional lane in each direction along I-10 from I-49 to LA 328 (Breaux Bridge).
The project began in May 2017 and is estimated for completion in May 2021.
