LA 59- Partial - Project #: H.011030 - St. Tammany Parish
Closure Details:
LA 59 will have a partial road closure affecting both left and right lanes with a scheduled start of September 20, 2020 at 8:00 PM and a scheduled end of September 26, 2020 at 5:00 AM (weather permitting). The closure will have alternating travel through the area. These closures will occur nightly between 8:00 PM and 5:00 AM. The location starts at Lonesome Rd Mile Post - 1.932 and ends at East St Mile Post - 2.097.
Comments:
These closures are for placing new asphalt pavement for the new roundabout.
One lane will remain open in one direction at all times; however, motorists may encounter a moderate to heavy delay during this time.
Detour:
Northbound motorists may take the alternate route of LA 1088 North to I-12 West back to LA 59. Southbound motorists may take the alternate route of I-12 East to LA 1088 South back to LA 59.
Restrictions:
There will be no vehicle restrictions, and emergency vehicles will have access.
