ST. TAMMANY PARISH – LA 59: Roundabout at Lonesome Rd.

On Sunday, August 9, 2020, there will be an intermittent lane closure on LA 59 immediately South of the LA59/Lonesome Rd intersection. This closure will be from 8:00 PM through 6:00 AM nightly, weather permitting. There will be an ongoing flagging operation to coordinate traffic through the closure, but drivers should expect delays during this time. This closure is for asphalt operations.
One lane will remain open at all times. There will be no vehicle restrictions, and emergency vehicles will have access. Motorists may encounter a slight delay during this time.
Alternate Routes
Northbound motorists may take the alternate route of LA 1088 North to I-12 West back to LA 59.
Southbound motorists may take the alternate route of I-12 East to LA 1088 South back to LA 59.
