US 51 - Amite, Tangipahoa Parish

US 51, ½ mile south of LA 16 in Amite, there is water on the roadway. The roadway is still passable at this time.
This area will continuously be monitored and updates will be put out when necessary.
Safety Reminder:
With the threat of heavy rainfall that may impact areas of the state, the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) reminds motorists to take extra precautions should traveling be necessary.
