BRIDGE CLOSURE
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on Tuesday, July 21, 2020, LA 542 in Jackson Parish near Jonesboro, will be closed at a location 1.1 miles east of US 167 to make necessary bridge repairs.
The bridge closure is anticipated to last for two weeks.
DOTD reminds motorists to NEVER drive around ‘road closed’ barricades at any time for any reason.
Permit/Detour
The detour route will be US 167, LA 813, and LA 542.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
