The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that LA 112, Lecompte, Rapides Parish, is NOW OPEN TO ALL TRAFFIC.

Union Pacific Railroad
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that LA 112, Lecompte, Rapides Parish, will be closed Union Pacific Railroad Tracks. The work will be done at Milepost 80.707 and is on Control Section 073-03. The closure will be on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 from 10:00 AM with a reopen at 7:00 PM. The closure is for Union Pacific to replace the approaches at the crossing.
Permit/Detour section
The Roadway will be closed completely to all traffic during this time. The Detour will be LA 112 West to I-49 South to US 167 North to US 71 North to LA 112. The detour can accept oversized loads and will be identified with proper markings for the general public. All emergency agencies will be notified of the Road Closure.
