*****UPDATE: LA 577 HAS BEEN REOPENED TO THRU TRAFFIC.*****
BRIDGE CLOSURE
Beginning Monday, June 01, 2020, Sutt Bayou Bridge on LA 577 in Madison Parish will be CLOSED to all through traffic, approximately 1.75 miles south of I-20. This bridge closure is required so that DOTD maintenance crews can make necessary repairs to the bridge.
DOTD reminds motorists to NEVER drive around ‘road closed’ barricades at any time for any reason.
PERMIT/DETOUR
The detour can be accessed using routes LA 577, LA 860, LA 17 and I-20.
