The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that LA 111, Anacoco, Vernon Parish, IS NOW OPEN TO ALL TRAFFIC.

Statewide 511 Traffic Information

LA 111 Anacoco; Vernon Parish
Mile Post 36.909; Control Section 133.02
DOT # 329-259 M
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that LA 111, Anacoco, Vernon Parish, will be closed at the Kansas City Southern Railroad track. The work is being done at milepost 36.909 and is on control section 133.02. The closure will be Friday, May 15, 2020 from 5:00 PM with a reopening to traffic at 5:00 PM on Monday, May 18, 2020. The closure is for Kansas City Southern Railroad to replace the surface and ties thru the crossing.
Permit/Detour section
The roadway will be closed completely to all traffic during this time. The detour will be LA 111 to LA 392 to US 171 South to LA 111. The detour can accept oversized loads and will be identified with proper markings for the general public. All emergency agencies will be notified of the road closure.
