Alexandria, Rapides Parish;
Control Section 029-07**
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, (DOTD), advises the public that LA 496 is re-opened to all traffic from US 71 (MacArthur Dr.) to Heyman Lane.
The recent closure replaced an existing cross drain pipe, milled and overlayed a section of roadway and performed some wheel path rut repair. The daytime closure lasted 3 days.
