UPDATE REOPENED: Emergency Road Closure / LA 590 / Morehouse Parish

UPDATE: LA 590, at the location described below, has been reopened to traffic.

ROAD CLOSURE
Effective immediately, LA 590 (Cain Rd) in Morehouse Parish will be closed at a location 1 mile west of the intersection of LA 590 and LA 591. This closure is required due to rising flood waters overtopping the roadway. Once flood waters recede, the roadway will be assessed and will be reopened when deemed safe for traffic.
PERMIT/DETOUR
The detour route will be LA 591, LA 140, and US 425.
