There will be a roadway closure of LA 38 in Kentwood at the railroad tracks, 0.11 miles East of US 51. The road will be closed from 6:00 AM on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 through 6:00 PM on Thursday, December 19, 2019 for railroad work.
Permit/Detour Section:
The following detour will be posted:
Motorists traveling LA 38 east shall take US 51 north to LA 1054, then east to re-intersect LA 38.
Motorists traveling LA 38 west shall take LA 1054 north to US 51, then south to re-intersect LA 38.
