The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that, weather permitting, on Monday, October 21, 2019, road construction work will continue on LA 451 between LA 114 and Pete Laborde Road.
This 11.6 mile long road construction project will consists of cross drains, milling asphalt pavement, pavement patching, curve widening, asphalt concrete pavement, and related work.
This contract was awarded to the low bidder, Diamond B Construction Company, L.L.C in the amount of $4,449,110.97.
Permit/Detour Section
The roadway closures are complete, but the roadway remains under construction. No wide loads will continued to not be allowed throughout the project. The roadway will be open to traffic; however there will be lane closures.
