LA 542 near Jonesboro in Jackson Parish-NOW OPEN

*****LA 542 HAS BEEN REOPENED TO TRAFFIC*****
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that LA 542 just north of the City of Jonesboro in Jackson Parish is CLOSED to through traffic effectively immediately due to a hole in the bridge deck.
This bridge is located 3.4 miles east of US 167 on LA 542.
This closure will be in place until repairs can be complete.
Alternate route: The detour can be accessed using routes LA 811, US 167, and LA 542.
Restrictions/Permits: N/A
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
