*******UPDATE******* LA 44 (ASCENSION PARISH) - Roadwork has been extended to Tuesday, December 31, 2019.

LA 44 (ASCENSION PARISH) – A lane shift will take place on LA 44 northbound and southbound between LA 941 and the Bayou Conway Bridge. Both the NB and SB lanes will be shifted to the west onto new pavement near the new Conway Development on HWY 44. The lane shift will allow for the closing of the existing NB lane, for the purpose of performing asphalt base repairs on the existing NB lane. Work will begin Tuesday, August 6, 2019 thru Friday, November 29, 2019 from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily.
No alternate routes are necessary.
