The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that beginning Friday, July 5, 2019 at 7:00 am, weather permitting, LA 623 will have daytime alternating lane closures between LA 3225 and Wall Lane to allow for construction work. This work will consist of constructing underdrain system installation and concrete patching on LA 623. The lane closures can be expected to last until the end of September 2019.
Permit/Detour section
There are no detours at this time associated with these lane closures.
NOTE: There will be a no width restriction associated with these lane closures.

All construction activity is weather dependent and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. DOTD appreciates the motoring public’s patience and reminds drivers to please exercise caution when traveling through work zone areas and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
