UPDATE - REOPENED: LA 783 Bridge over Dry Creek, Red River Parish
UPDATE: Repairs to the LA 783 bridge over Dry Creek in Red River Parish are complete, and the bridge has been REOPENED.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Thursday, June 13, 2019, the LA 783 Bridge over Dry Creek located near Hall Summit, 1.5 miles south of LA 514, will be closed approximately five (5) days due to substructure repairs.
Alternate Route: Total Road Closure. Vehicles must detour using US 71 or US 371. Vehicles must comply with weight restrictions on detour routes.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking or biking near an active work zone.
