ST. TAMMANY PARISH – LA 59: Roundabout at Sharp Road

Beginning Sunday, June 9, 2019 through Wednesday, June 12, 2019, there will be intermittent lane closures on the Roundabout at LA 59 and Sharp Road. These closures will be from 8:00 PM through 5:00 AM nightly, weather permitting. There will be an ongoing flagging operation to coordinate traffic through the Roundabout, but drivers should expect delays during this time. This is for asphalt work and roadway striping on this project.
One lane will remain open in one direction at all times. There will be no vehicle restrictions, and emergency vehicles will have access. Motorists may encounter a slight delay during this time.
Detour
Northbound motorists may take the alternate route of LA 1088 North to I-12 West back to LA 59.
Southbound motorists may take the alternate route of I-12 East to LA 1088 South back to LA 59.
