The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that LA 1 in Boyce, 2 miles north of LA 121, Rapides Parish, at the railroad track, IS NOW OPEN TO ALL TRAFFIC.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that LA 1 in Boyce, Rapides Parish at the railroad track will be closed Friday, May 31, 2019 from 8:00 a.m. with a reopening to traffic at 5:00 a.m. on Monday, June 3, 2019. The work is being done on LA 1 approximately 2.0 miles north of the intersection of LA 1 and LA 121 in Boyce. The closure is for Cleco to adjust the crossing surface for the railroad track.
Permit/Detour Section
The roadway will be closed completely to all traffic during this time. The detour will be LA 1 North to LA 8 West to I-49 South to LA 8 East to LA 1 North. The detour can accept oversized loads. The detour route will be identified with proper markings for the general public. All emergency agencies will be notified of the road closure.
