Update (5/31/2019): LA 847, Caldwell Parish, is open to all vehicular traffic.
DOTD appreciates your patience while waiting for water to recede from the roadway.
(5/19/2019) LA 847, Caldwell Parish, approximately 1.5 miles west of the intersection of LA 133 to the intersection of LA 133 is closed beginning Sunday, May 19, 2019, at 3:00 p.m. until further notice due to high water.
Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes and avoid the high water areas.
Permit/Detour: US 165 to LA 4 to LA 133.
