ST. TAMMANY PARISH: I-59 BRIDGES - INSIDE LANE CLOSURES
On the I-59 bridges, from the junction of I-59 and LA 1090 to the Mississippi state line, there will be closures of the inside/left lane of each bridge on Wednesday, May 15, 2019, for DOTD forces to sweep the inside shoulders of the the bridges in this area. These closures will be:
Northbound – from 9:00 AM until 12:00 noon
Southbound – from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM
There will be signs posted in advance of these closures to advise motorists of the upcoming closure of one lane.
One lane in each direction will remain open at all times; however, traffic may be slowed as the work progresses. There will be no vehicle restrictions, and emergency vehicles will have access.
