The Bayou Bonfouca Bridge located on LA 433 will have complete nightly closures for vehicular traffic, beginning on the evening of Saturday, October 27, 2018 through Friday, December 7, 2018. The hours of each nightly closure shall be as follows:
6:00 PM to 6:00 AM Sunday through Thursday nights
6:00 PM to 9:00 AM Friday and Saturday nights
In addition, this will temporarily modify the operating schedule for marine traffic
to be closed during working hours of 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM Monday through Friday
and 6:00 PM to 9:00 AM on Saturday and Sunday.
This is to allow the Contractor to remove and replace the grid deck on the movable portion of the bridge.
There will be no vehicular traffic access during the hours of closure stated above, and no marine traffic access during the hours stated above. Emergency vehicles and wide loads will not have access during the hours of closure.
Alternate Route
US 11 (Front St.) to US 190 (Gause Blvd. W) to Carroll Road.
