UPDATE: I-12, TANGIPAHOA PARISH, RAMP CLOSURES at US 51 and I-55 INTERCHANGE, S.P. H.010991
I-12 Westbound Ramp closures at US 51 and I-55 Interchanges are scheduled as follows while crews perform asphalt paving operations:
RAMP CLOSURES:
Thursday, October 4, 8:00 pm to 12:00 am, I-12 Westbound on ramp at US 51 Business.
Thursday, October 4, 12:00 am to 6:00 am, I-12 Westbound off ramp to I-55 north (Exit 38B). I-55 Northbound off ramp to I-12 west (Exit 29B). I-12 Westbound off ramp to I-55 south (Exit 38A). I-55 Southbound off ramp to I-12 west (Exit 29B).
DETOUR: As alternate routes to avoid ramp closures during construction, motorists traveling US 51 Bus. to I-12 west may take US 190 west to I-55, then south to re-intersect with I-12. Motorists traveling I-12 west to I-55 north may take US 51 Bus (Exit 40), then US 190 west to re-intersect with I-55. Motorists traveling I-55 north or south to I-12 west may take US 190 west to LA 43, then south to re-intersect with I-12.
