The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that at 9:00 am on Thursday, October 4, 2018, DOTD will be closing the north bound travel lane of LA 191 at the Toledo Bend Dam to repair erosion of the slope near the bridge. This closure is expected to reopen at 4:00 pm on Thursday, October 4, 2018 barring any construction complications or weather delays.
Permit/Detour section
There will be flagging personnel on site directing traffic. You can expect some delays if traveling north or South over the Dam on LA 191. Local traffic is encouraged to use alternate routes during the time of this lane closure.
