I-12: Bayou Lacombe/LA 434 - Northshore Blvd/Airport Road
Beginning Sunday, September 23, 2018, through Saturday, October 6, 2018, the Westbound outside lane and shoulder of I-12 will be closed from Bayou Lacombe/LA 434 to Northshore Blvd/Airport Road from 8:00 PM until 6:00 AM nightly. Once the work is completed there, the Westbound and Eastbound inside lane and shoulder of I-12 in this same area will be closed from 8:00 PM until 6:00 AM nightly.
In addition, on Friday, October 5, 2018, through Saturday, October 6, 2018, the Eastbound off-ramp of I-12 at LA 434 and the Westbound on-ramp of I-12 at Northshore Blvd./Airport Road will be completely closed from 8:00 PM until 6:00 AM.
This is for crews to continue with the milling and overlay for this project, finishing the Westbound outside lane and proceeding to the inside lanes in both directions.
One lane will remain open at all times, both Eastbound and Westbound. There will be no vehicle restrictions, and emergency vehicles will have access. Motorists may encounter a slight delay during this time.
