Box Culvert Replacement
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that on Monday, October 8, 2018 at 7:00 AM, Rapides Avenue at MacArthur Drive, including the MacArthur Drive Service Road at Rapides Avenue will be closed. The intent of this closure is to remove a failing 5x5 RCBC and replace it with 70” RCP. This closure is expected to last 60 days.
Permit/Detour section
The MacArthur Drive Service Road will be closed to all traffic for the duration of the work. Rapides Avenue will be open to local traffic only. The detour route is as stated:
Eastbound traffic on Rapides Avenue will be detoured North on MacArthur Drive then South on Bolton Avenue to Rapides Avenue.
Westbound traffic on Rapides Avenue will detour North on Bolton Avenue, then South on MacArthur Drive to Rapides Avenue.
The MacArthur Drive Service Road at Rapides Avenue will be closed. Please use Main Line MacArthur Drive and follow the detour signs.
