Update restrictions
Southbound and Northbound LA 45, Goose Bayou Bridge, in Lafitte , one lane will be open, one direction at a time, using alternating traffic signals to control traffic beginning Thursday, August 16, 2018 through Friday, February 22, 2019, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. DOTD would like to remind the traveling public to stop at the stop bar when the traffic signal is red.
This closure will allow vehicles 11-feet wide or smaller to pass through the construction zone. Road is open for regular traffic that will be controlled by traffic signals on each side of the bridge.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
