DOTD announces six public information meetings for I-210 Prien Lake Bridge Project – Calcasieu Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development will conduct six informational public meetings for the upcoming I-210 Prien Lake Bridge repair project.
The I-210 project is expected to start this fall with an estimated completion of Fall 2019. The project begins at mile marker 0.5 east of the I-10 Jct. to mile marker 3.8 near Exit 4 for Nelson Rd./L’Auberge Blvd. Construction work for the project will happen in five phases with major construction work beginning on the eastbound bridge then continuing to the westbound bridge.
The purpose of the meetings is to provide an overview of the project, construction zone and traffic, as well as, educate the public on how to stay informed. A presentation will be presented at the meetings, and additional project information will be available. LADOTD staff will be available to answer questions and discuss issues related to the project.
