ST. TAMMANY PARISH - I-59/I-10 JUNCTION: H.011926
Beginning Monday, June 4 through Friday, June 8, and then again beginning Monday, June 11 through Friday, June 15, the Southbound Inside lane and the Northbound Inside lane of I-59, from the Mississippi/Louisiana state line to the I-59/I-10 Interchange will be closed as follows:
SOUTH BOUND Day time: 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM
NORTH BOUND Day time: 6:00 AM until 1:00 PM
This is for crews to continue the cable installation process, weather permitting.
One lane will remain open at all times, there will be no vehicle restrictions, and emergency vehicles will have access.
Detour
Southbound Motorists wishing to avoid any delays can exit I-59 in Picayune, MS, take Mississippi 43 S from Picayune to Mississippi 603 south in Kiln, MS and proceed south to I-10 West.
Northbound Motorists wishing to avoid any delays can exit I-10 in Slidell, take I-10 E to MS 603 in Kiln, MS, from Kiln take MS 43 to I-59 in Picayune, MS.
