Lane and ramp closures will be in effect nightly from 8 pm to 5 am on the following dates/locations. These closures are necessary to install overhead signs.
Wednesday, May 2, I-55 Northbound right lane will be closed at milepost 28 and Exit Ramp 28 (I-55 NB to US 51) will be closed. The left lane will remain open at all times.
DETOUR: Motorist can avoid this work zone by using US 51. Motorist traveling north bound I-55 with a destination on US 51 should continue north bound on I-55 to exit 31, then return on south bound I-55 to Exit 28 (I-55 SB to US 51).
Thursday, May 3, I-55 Northbound right lane will be closed at milepost 29 and Exit Ramp 29A (I-55 NB to I-12 EB) will be closed. The left lane will remain open at all times.
DETOUR: Motorist can avoid this work zone by using US 51. Motorist traveling north bound I-55 with a destination of I-12 east bound should exit onto I-12 west bound (Exit 29B), then I-55 south bound (Exit 38A), then return to I-12 east bound (Exit 29A).
