The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that, weather permitting, on Thursday, April 5, 2018 road construction work will begin on LA 105 from the St. Landry Parish Line to the intersection of LA 1183.
This 5.9 miles long road base rehabilitation construction project will consist of in-place cement treated base course, superpave asphaltic concrete pavement, and related work.
This contract was awarded to the low bidder, Prairie Contractors Inc. in the amount of $2,204,507.93.
Permit/Detour Section
No wide loads will be allowed beginning April 5, 2018. The roadway will be open to traffic at all times; however, there will be lane closures. Unpaved roadway conditions will exist during base course construction.
