The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that beginning on Monday March 5, 2018 at 8:30 am, weather permitting, the right shoulder of LA 28 westbound will be closed at the intersection John Allison Drive (Alexandria, LA).

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that beginning on Monday March 5, 2018 at 8:30 am, weather permitting, the right lane of LA 28 westbound will be closed at the intersection John Allison Drive (Alexandria, LA). The closure is needed to allow for the construction of a new right turn lane from LA 28W onto John Allison Drive. Daily temporary right lane closures can be expected at this location for the duration of the project which is estimated to be completed by the end of April 2018.
Permit/Detour Section
There are no detours at this time associated with these lane closures.
NOTE: There will be no width restrictions associated with these lane closures.
