ST. TAMMANY PARISH - I/59 TO I/10 JUNCTION
REVISION FOR NORTHBOUND NIGHT TIME
Beginning Monday, November 27 through Friday, December 1, and on Monday, December 4 through Friday, December 8, 2017, the Southbound Inside lane and the Northbound Inside lane of I-59, from the Mississippi/Louisiana state line will be closed as follows:
SOUTH BOUND Day time: 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM
NORTH BOUND Day time: 6:00 AM until 1:00 PM
SOUTH BOUND Night time: 6:00 PM until 5:00 AM
NORTH BOUND Night time: 7:00 PM until 5:00 AM
This is for crews to continue preparing the ground and other work for this project, weather permitting.
One lane will remain open at all times, there will be no vehicle restrictions, and emergency vehicles will have access.
Detour
Southbound Motorists wishing to avoid any delays can exit I-59 in Picayune, MS, take Mississippi 43 S from Picayune to Mississippi 603 south in Kiln, MS and proceed south to I-10 West.
Northbound Motorists wishing to avoid any delays can exit I-10 in Slidell, take I-10 E to MS 603 in Kiln, MS, from Kiln take MS 43 to I-59 in Picayune, MS.
