LANE CLOSURE NOTICE
One lane on LA 1, between Port Fourchon and Grand Isle, will be closed starting November 28, 2017 thru May 31, 2018 (hurricane off-season). The closed lane will alternate throughout the construction of three bridges along LA 1. The traffic will be controlled by temporary traffic signals. One lane will remain open at all times, but motorist should expect minor delays traveling thru the construction sites.
This closure(s) to vehicular traffic is needed in order to allow LADOTD’s contractor to remove and replace three fixed span bridges on LA 1.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
