The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that, weather permitting, work will begin on the LA 467 Pavement Patching and Overlay Project on Monday, October 23, 2017 and will continue for approximately (4) four months. This pavement patching and overlay project is located on LA 467 from its junction with US 171 to the Fort Polk Gate. This 5.383 mile overlay project will receive grading, drainage structures, milling asphalt concrete, pavement patching, class II base course, asphalt surface treatment, asphalt concrete overlay, and related work.
The project was awarded to the low bidder, Prairie Contractors Inc. in the amount of $2,686,915.92.
Permit/Detour Section
The contractor will begin pavement patching on Monday, October 23, 2017 and the roadway will be open to all local and through traffic with no restrictions for passenger vehicles and a 12’ wide lane width restriction for all oversize vehicles. The roadway will be reduced to one lane during construction operations.
