**District 08 Low Cost Safety Improvements**
Avoyelles: LA 1, LA 29, LA 107 and LA 115

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that beginning on Wednesday, October 11, 2017, construction work will begin on the State Routes listed below. The work will consist of surfacing the roadway with skid resistant material. The project is expected to be completed in November 2017.
Updates to the Permit/Detour Section are listed below.
Route: LA 1 between LA 1191 and LA 453
Route: LA 29 between LA 107 and LA 114
Route: LA 107 between LA 1192 and LA 453
Route: LA 115 between LA 29 and LA 1
Dates: Wednesday, October 11, 2017 thru November 30, 2017
Restrictions: The roadway will be reduced to one lane periodically during construction. Permit loads will be allowed through construction zones.
