The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that LA 1 will be closed to thru traffic from 6:00am, Monday, July 24, 2017 until 6:00am, Wednesday, July 26, 2017, to accommodate drainage work 4.3 miles north of LA 498.
Permit/Detour section
Northbound traffic detour will be from LA 1 to right on Rapides Station Rd. to left on I-49 North to Exit 98. Southbound traffic detour will be from LA 1 to I-49 South to Exit 94 to right on Rapides Station Rd. Northbound I-49 Welcome Center traffic detour exit 98. Southbound I-49 Welcome Center traffic detour exit 99.
