Both directions of LA 48 (River Rd.), between the I-310 and Ormond Blvd in Destrehan, single lane closure with flagging operation and shoulder work on Saturday, July 8th, from 6:30am to 4:30pm and Monday July 10th through Friday July 14th (recurring daily) from 8:30am to 3:00pm, while work crews preform Drainage, concrete work and asphalt patching and widening.
This closure will allow vehicles 12-feet wide or smaller to pass through the construction zone. Road is open for regular traffic.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction/maintenance site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
