There will be alternating lane closures on I-12 Eastbound at the US 190 overpass (Milepost 63.09) on Monday, February 20, 2017 between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m. (weather permitting) while crews install striping.
The on-ramp from US 190 Southbound to I-12 Eastbound will also be closed during this time.
Permit/Detour Section
To avoid construction delays, I-12 Eastbound motorists may take LA 21 (Exit #59), South to LA 22, east on LA 22 to US 190, East on US 190 to LA 59, north on LA 59 to I-12.
Southbound US 190 to I-12 Eastbound motorists should proceed to Fairway Drive Exit, left to US 190 Northbound, North to I-12 Eastbound.
One lane of traffic will be open at all times. Emergency vehicles will have access. By law, oversize loads are not allowed to travel at night.
