There will be nightly left lane closures on I-10 Eastbound at the Middle Pearl River Bridge (Milepost 272.84 to Milepost 273.20) beginning on Sunday, December 4, 2016 through Tuesday, December 6, 2016 between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. while crews work on the roadway (weather permitting).
Permit/Detour Section
To avoid construction delays, Eastbound motorists may take US 190 B (Exit #265 – Fremaux Ave.), to US 90 (Chef Menteur Hwy.), east on US 90 to MS 607, north on MS 607 to I-10.
Motorists wanting to utilize US 90 as a detour should be aware that there are load restrictions on the Pearl River Bridges.
One lane of traffic will be open at all times. Emergency vehicles will have access. By law, oversize loads are not allowed to travel at night.
