The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that beginning on Monday November 28, at 7:00 AM, construction work will continue on the bridge location listed below. The work will consist of bridge repair. The Construction work is expected to be completed in January 2017. Updates to the Permit/Detour Section are listed below.
Permit/Detour Section
Route: LA 29 over Bayou Boeuf between LA 106 and LA 1176 in Avoyelles Parish Bridge I (Structure No. 08052050303271).
Date: November 28, 2016 – December 30, 2016
Restrictions: The lane closures will be alternating. There will be day time lane closures during the week. There will be a width restriction of 9 feet.
