The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that, weather permitting, on Monday, October 3, 2016, road construction work will begin on LA 114 from the LA 1188 intersection to the intersection of LA 115.
This 2.4 mile long road construction project will consists of drainage structures, asphalt patching, cold planing, superpave asphaltic concrete pavement, and related work.
This contract was awarded to the low bidder, Diamond B Construction Co., LLC in the amount of $1,037,021.48.
Permit/Detour Section
No wide loads will be allowed beginning October 3, 2016. The roadway will be open to traffic at all times; however there will be lane closures.
