The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that LA 498 (England Dr.) will be closed to thru traffic from 7:30a.m. on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 until 5:00p.m. on Thursday, July 14, 2016. The reason for this closure is to accommodate utility work 1.40 miles West of US 71.
Permit/Detour Section
Westbound traffic will detour right onto Enterprise Road then left onto LA 1 then left onto Dixie Street.
Eastbound traffic will detour left onto Dixie Street then right onto LA 1 then right onto Enterprise Road.
Safety Reminder
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
