The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that beginning on Tuesday May 31, at 8:00 AM, construction work will continue on the bridge location listed below. The work will consist of Bridge Painting. Updates to the Permit/Detour Section are listed below.

Route: US 71 between LA 180 and US 165 in Rapides Parish (Underneath Structure No. 08400153001871)
Date: May 31, 2016 – August 1, 2016
Restrictions: There will be a width restriction of 12 feet and a height restriction of 15-1/2 feet.
