Scope of Work
The outside lane of westbound I-20 between the entry to the westbound Weight Station at Delta just west of the state line and the Rest Area at Mound will experience lane closures beginning Monday, May 2, 2016. The westbound Weigh Station at Delta will also be closed starting Monday, May 2, 2016. The Rest Area at Mound will be closed starting Wednesday, May 4, 2016. The lane closure will allow contractors to perform mill and asphalt overlay operations in this area. The work is projected to take 3 weeks to complete, weather permitting.
Permit/Detour Section
Traffic will be restricted to 12' width restrictions Saturday through Thursday. There will be no width restrictions on Fridays except for Friday, May 6 and Friday, May 13. No detours have been established for this work.
